Introducing our new, improved, large area CMOS X-ray detectors for automated X-ray inspection, non-destructive testing and quality assurance. Our detectors now use a 10GigE interface to exploit our high-speed sensor design making them the fastest large area X-ray detectors available today.
We will be exhibiting our latest innovations in X-ray imaging technology at the Control 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany (23-26 April) and WCNDT 2024 in Incheon, Korea (27-31 May).
Our large area CMOS X-ray detectors are suitable for inline AXI, EV battery CT and other industrial and scientific micro-CT systems.

Key benefits:
High resolution for accuracy and precision
Highest speed on the market
High sensitivity
Low noise
Excellent radiation lifetime
In all our detectors the sensor is permanently bonded to a fibre optic plate (FOP) to enhance image quality and make the device more radiation tolerant.
Our innovative sensor design uses a proprietary column parallel ADC design and a programmable region of interest mode to achieve exceptionally high frame rates. High speed sensor design alone cannot meet the requirements of high-end dynamic imaging, whether in fluoroscopy or computed tomography. The 2824HS and 2824HR use 10 GigE interfaces and the updated FPGA technology to offer best-in-class frame rates of 88 fps and 22 fps respectively with full frame resolution. Our flexible region of interest function allows a region to be configured to optimise the frame rate in a specific use case. For example, in 3131HS 1500 × 2000 pixels can be read at 180 fps. In our 2824HS a 50% ROI of 1200 × 2800 pixels can achieve a frame rate of 175 fps, while the 2824HR offers a 25% ROI mode with a frame rate of 88 fps. These technical parameters have been translated by our customers into high performance systems for inline automated X-ray inspection of EV battery cells and electronic printed circuit boards (PCBa) that have advanced the state of the art in these fields.
